Artist Pino Daeni Romantic Women Paintings

Sometimes I find a talented artist that causes me to marvel at their art and Pino Daeni is one of THOSE artists. Pino’s website states:

“Giuseppe ‘Pino’ Dangelico (1939-2010) was born in Bari, Italy. Trained at The Art Institute of Bari and later at Milan’s Academy of Brea, he perfected his skills painting nudes and figures and was heavily influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites and Macchiaioli.

After establishing himself as a successful artist in his native land, Pino decided to immigrate to the United States in search of further artistic freedom and opportunity. He was soon discovered by the distinguished Borghi Gallery, which held several prestigious exhibitions of his work in New York and Boston.

Pino’s early paintings, featuring soft and romantic characters, caught the attention of major book publishers Dell and Zebra Books. In 1980 Zebra commissioned him to do his first book cover. His popularity soon grew within the literary community, and he became the artist-in-demand for Zebra, Bantam, Simon and Schuster, Harlequin, Penguin USA and Dell. Over the ensuing decades Pino illustrated the covers of over 3,000 books, with his unique style dominating the market.”

Pino Daeni’s soft romantic characters is what initially caught my attention. I was searching for paintings of redheaded women to post on my Facebook page at the end of the day when I happened upon the art of Pino Daeni. The fine art oil paintings are filled with rich vibrant colors that draw you into a scene shared by beautiful confident women.

I just love Pino’s paintings and hope you enjoy them too.

    Wow! Just… wow!

Where, oh, where are the true romantic visionaries of our present art world? It sometimes seems as if there is a lot of sex out there, but not enough love and romance, at least to my way of thinking. (I sometimes feel so anachronistic, as if I should have been born in another age.) You mentioned “beautiful confident women.” That’s exactly what the world needs more of.
