Sincerity is Heartfelt

Between the ice cream, chocolate, your well wishes and prayers, I made it through the day.

ice cream, chocolate, pecans
Tom's wristband from the hospital
So did my husband. He is peacefully snoring the roof off in the other room.

Albert Schweitzer said,

At times our own light
goes out and is rekindled
by a spark
from another person.
Each of us has cause
to think
with deep gratitude
of those who have lighted
the flame within us.

Thank you for your heartfelt wishes that buoyed my spirit today. I truly appreciate your comments.

While we are on the subject of being heartfelt, have you ever looked that word up in the dictionary? I did. Yeah, I know you are not surprised. Once a nerd, always a nerd! Just be thankful I’m not teaching you Calculus.

heartfelt: deeply or sincerely felt; earnest (a considerable or impressive degree or amount). Adjectives of this word: sincere, deep, earnest, warm, genuine, profound, honest, ardent, devout, hearty, fervent, cordial, wholehearted

Isn’t that just a lovely word?

With an abundance of gratefulness, I wish to thank my bloggie friend Lisa from All That and a Box of Rocks for giving me the Heartfelt Blogger Award.

Heartfelt Blogger Award

Like Lisa, I don’t really dig following the rules, so I am glad she didn’t post any for this award! In appreciation of your heartfelt kindnesses today, I want to pass this award to you.

Blue Cotton Memory She also asked me a question and I posted the answer here:
