Think and Dream Big

By Sherry Riter 13 Comments

As long as you’re going to think anyway,
think big.

~Donald Trump~

I know that this won’t be the kind of music that everyone likes, but music has a way of speaking to the soul. This particular YouTube video did not have an embed code. The first 26 seconds is NOT the song.

Listen to the words —>Dream Big
Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand

When you cry be sure to dry your eyes
‘Cause better days are sure to come
And when you smile be sure to smile wide
Don’t let them know that they have won
And when you walk, walk with pride
    Don’t show the hurt inside
Because the pain will soon be gone

And when you dream, dream big
As big as the ocean blue
‘Cause when you dream it might come true
    When you dream, dream big

When you laugh be sure to laugh out loud
‘Cause it will carry all your cares away
And when you see, see the beauty all around and in yourself
And it’ll help you feel okay
And when you pray, pray for strength
    To help you carry on
When the troubles come your way

And when you dream, dream big
As big as the ocean blue
‘Cause when you dream it might come true
    When you dream, dream big

When you laugh be sure to laugh out loud
‘Cause it will carry all your cares away
And when you see, see the beauty all around and in yourself
And it’ll help you feel okay
And when you pray, pray for strength
    To help you carry on
When the troubles come your way

And when you dream, dream big
As big as the ocean blue
‘Cause when you dream it might come true
    When you dream, dream big

I sincerely hope all your dreams come true.

I love that scene from Rocky…it always made me kind of emotional 🙂

You entered a contest on my blog, but on the wrong post, and there is no feature for me to transfer the posts (I emailed you too)…you would need to repost them to enter.

I nominated you for the Mommy Blog award 🙂 It's post #49 I think under the comments on that blog's page. I hope you win!! Let me know when the voting begins so I can vote for you too.

I'm a big dreamer. What is life without dreaming of bigger things?

Hey! You are such a warm and positive person I wanted to come check out your site for more than 'how to start a blog'! This is a topic that is SO near and dear to me—dream big because the mind makes things happen. The power of belief & the law of attraction, THEY WORK. So keeping positive thoughts & dreams in your mind and spirit are so important because what you believe is what you create. SO SO TRUE. I loved reading this, even though I'm a little late to the party….:-)
