I often look at artists on the Internet because I appreciate creativity of all kinds, however, music and paintings are my favorite. So the other day as I was surfing, I found Rob Hefferan’s beautiful realistic paintings.
Rob has a special talent that enables him to paint life in the same manner it is lived and in all it’s vibrancy.
“Born in 1968 in Warrington, Cheshire, Rob Hefferan is an exceptionally talented figurative artist. His work not only captures the unique character and warmth of each stubject, but transcends form to suggest the living, breathing essence of the individual.
Working predominately with oils and acrylics, Rob’s work is both eminently understandable and intensely familiar. Colour, light and texture harmonise intelligently and with stunning candour to produce works that resonate with vibrant life.”
The last painting ranks high on my favorite list for obvious reasons.
Hello,
This work is exquisite, I am also a hyperrealist painter so can appreciate the skill involved in his artwork. You obviously have vey good taste, may I invite you to view my work at the for mentioned web site.
Best regards,
Ronen.
I looked at your paintings of cars and they are impressive! Do you have an art site where you sell your paintings?
Dramatic
Yep! 🙂
OMG!!! Rob Hefferan’s realistic paintings are simply gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this talented artist’s work with us. 🙂
My pleasure! He blew me away!
Although the path that led me there is dubious, an artist that has captured my appreciation is of a similar ilk. Alex Ross has transformed comic book heroes in a realistic style to suggest a third dimension…and maybe even a fourth as the detail to his work brings them life. I have to say Ross’ work is the closest I have been to appreciating art.
Hefferan’s work is marvelous!
I wasn’t sure what you meant about the last painting…then I realized. That is a beautiful automobile!!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed this artist, Jerel!!! Yes, the automobile is exquisite!
Well… Jerel stole my good line… bout why you liked the last painting, so I’ll just say I loved the paintings… some awesome talent there! Thank you for sharing! 🙂 🙂 🙂
LOLOLOL Oh yeah, definitely the automobile! 😉
It was really obvious… the paint job on that car would just SOOOOO go with your hair! 🙂
LOLOLOLOLOL Of course, it had NOTHING to do with the man either. 😛
