“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” ~ Laozi ~
What exactly do you have to do to be loved?
Do you have to make a certain amount of money?
No.
Do you have to look a particular way?
No.
Do you have to be an extrovert or do you have to be an introvert?
No.
Maybe you have to be able to cook really good?
No.
I got it! You have to have an immaculately clean house!
No.
Hmmm….You have to have a lot of educational degrees?
No.
Do you have to be able to sing or dance?
No.
Well what do you have to do to be loved?
Nothing.
What? Nothing?
That’s right. You don’t have to do anything to be loved. Regardless of your imperfections, all you have to do to be loved is to be yourself. That’s it. Just be yourself.

LOL Why yes it is an epiphany, Joan! (rolling eyes) You’re so funny! If only people knew how many times you’ve said the EXACT same thing to me for the last three years! 😛 FYI It DID finally sink in.
