FACT: Virginia has trees.
FACT: There are forests filled with trees in Virginia.
FACT: Some people don’t like all the trees in Virginia.
OPINION: I think the trees in Virginia are beautiful and I love them.
My perspective on the trees in Virginia is that I think they are beautiful.
perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
Having a particular point of view about the trees in Virginia is exactly that…a point of view. My perspective isn’t necessarily right or wrong – it simply is my perspective.
I have an opinion about most things just like you have an opinion about most things.
You and I are not necessarily right or wrong.
We just have a particular perspective.
After living so many years in Texas where trees were far and few between, I am very thankful to now live in Virginia surrounded by trees.
I’m sure many Texans are glad that they are not surrounded by trees.
So what is the big deal about trees?
Why am I dedicating a whole post to my perspective on the trees in Virginia?
Perspective applies to everything in our life and not just trees.
The wise individual realizes that our perspective on the trees are often different, but tolerance, compassion, unselfishness and love will reflect our maturity and allow us all to live together in peace.
Peace.
