Cheong-ah Hwang’s Amazing Paper Art Sculptures

By Sherry Riter 2 Comments

Originally from Seoul and now based in Columbus, Cheong-ah Hwang is a wife, mother and paper artist. Hwang said, “My passion is making things out of paper. I make mostly paper relief sculptures and 2D paper illustrations. When I was growing up in Seoul, Korea, my parents ran a printing shop. I had all sorts of paper available all the time. Playing with paper was the most fun thing to do. After I came to USA as a grown-up, I discovered many different forms of paper art, and I started working with paper since 2000.”
