The Redhead Riter

Witty, Intelligent & Addictive

Warm Breath On My Neck, Smell Of Your Skin

By Sherry Riter 8 Comments

Love is expressed, analyzed, explored and admired in books, movies and music.

Love is a very individual emotion that is shaped by a culmination of childhood, youth and experiences in adulthood. It draws on the past, the present and the hopes for the future.

Unconditional love is the ultimate love. It is the love that never fails. Unconditional love means that you love someone regardless of their human frailties, forgiving them even if they don’t ask, and it has no end.

Being loved unconditionally gives the gift of peace and contentment.

People walk into our life professing great love and sometimes they walk out leaving our hearts in scattered, broken pieces.

But sometimes there is a love that Stays.

A love that Honors.

A love that Commits.

A love that Respects.

A love that Cherishes.

A love that Understands.

A love that wraps you safely in the haven of forever.

Now that’s a love worth keeping.

Love, Longing, Memories

love: A strong feeling of affection and concern toward another person : attraction with sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers

longing: A strong persistent yearning or desire especially for something unattainable : craving

memories: an image or impression of one that is remembered

With Just Memories

Warm breath on my neck
The smell of your skin
Soft, quivering fingers.

Hungry, loving lips
Exploring the taste.

Quieting the mind
Releasing the pain
In my aching soul.

Tonight I’m alone
With just memories
Of laughter and loving.

Too scared for dreaming
Too lonely to hope.

My mind lost in fog
All alone in the dark
No arms to comfort me.

OMG, those pictures of you are breathtakingly beautiful. And George Winston playing on the piano “Longing Love” was beautiful. And the words your chose to write your post were beautiful. Would it be presumptuous for me to say, “You’re an incurable romantic?” May all your dreams of love come true. 🙂

I’m hoping that your posting of that particular photo means that you are beginning to realize what the rest of us have known for a while now: that you are one beautiful woman.
