The Humor Of Fingernail Polish – Women And Their Fingernails

As you probably gathered by now, I do not ever let my fingernails get very long. I just can’t function with them and I really don’t like to hear them clicking on the keyboard. Just call me weird.

Anyway, one of the physical attributes that I notice rather quickly is fingernails.

Are the fingernails clean?

Are the fingernails shaped pleasantly?

Are the fingernails functional?

Are the fingernails appropriate for the occasion?

I know there are A LOT of blogs that are dedicated to “fingernail polish” and creative nail art designs. There are so many that I haven’t been able to locate the original owner of all the photos, so if you see your creative nail art design photo in this post, let me know and I will note the source below your fancy schmancy nails.

I’ve painted my own nails many times. Too many to count actually, however the wildest I think I’ve ever had my nails was when I painted them all a different color. I actually not only did my nails that way, but I painted Brittany and Alyssa’s nails and toenails multi-colored. It was really quite fun. Since they are not young anymore and I’m not either, I just don’t think ten different colors on my nails would look so cool. But even with the festiveness of every nail being a different color, I still wouldn’t call it a creative nail art design. The ten color fingernail polish doesn’t even rank next to the creative nail art designs pictured in this post.

So I’m including some “different” kind of fingernails and creative nail art designs with humorous names to help identify them. Yes, I get a big kick out of these nails. I’m rather fascinated by the big array of colors and at the creativity in the different nail art designs. No, I can’t see myself ever replicating them on my own fingernails. One reason is that I’m not THAT creative. Another reason is that I can’t sit that long fiddling around with my nails. Yes, another reason is that I think some of the nails are absolutely hilariously ridiculous.
