To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before

star trek starship enterprise original

From 1966-1969, Captain Kirk narrated the beginning of each show in the Star Trek series by saying:

“Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.”

We all know that there is no starship called Enterprise. There also isn’t a crew on a 5-year mission. That gets me to the last part of Captain Kirk’s opening narration…

To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before

Every single person on this planet is different. The day that stretches before us is one hundred percent unique and can be altered by us at any time.

Do you wake up with the attitude of being able to boldly go where no man has gone before?

If not, why not? The day is YOUR day. You can choose who you share the precious minutes of the day with and when, where and how you spend every minute. The day that stretches ahead is an adventure. You don’t know what is going to happen on any given second. Life ahead is a total mystery.

The new day has nothing in it – no mistakes and no regrets.

There’s no time for fear, doubt or timidity. Be a tenacious traveler on the road that leads to the rest of your life. Set the wheels in motion to make all your dreams come true.

Life waits for your actions to lead you to happiness. We won’t ever get this day back. There is not an option for a re-do which is why we need to BOLDLY go where no man has gone before.

Seize the day!

Carpe diem.

I’ve been thinking something along the same lines today. Whether or not I can capitalize on it is something else entirely different. The sentiment is there however! Great post!
