Fusionbrands Silicone FoodPod Cooking Basket Gadget

By Sherry Riter 14 Comments

Fusionbrands FoodPod grande 2

I have come across one of the most fun kitchen steaming pod gadgets. This little tool is just so nifty! It’s called The FoodPod by Fusionbrands and is a modern silicone cooking tool designed to save time when boiling, blanching or steaming. What makes it so great is that by conveniently containing, removing and draining foods like eggs, veggies, shellfish and more in one easy-to-use vessel, everything cooks evenly and stays together.

All you have to do is place food in the FoodPod and add water to cook. The FoodPod will even clip to the pot!

When the food is finished cooking, lift the FoodPod from the water, let it drain and then remove the delicious food from the FoodPod.

Here’s the advantages of owning and using the FoodPod:

  • Saves time and water
  • Foods are immersed and removed at the same time to ensure even cooking
  • Keeps foods together for quick & easy removal
  • Acts as a strainer and drains water back into the pot – lets you reserve the cooking water too!
  • Easily holds up to a dozen large eggs or several heads of broccoli (1-3/4 quart or 1-2/3 liter capacity)
  • Built-in grip clip allows for convenient removal from water and aids in boil over control
  • Non-stick silicone protects delicate foods & pot surfaces
  • Flexible to fit in any size pot for cooking & storing
  • Made of FDA/EU food-safe silicone
  • Top rack dishwasher safe
  • BPA free nylon

Honestly, you have to watch the short video!

What do you think? Really cool kitchen gadget?

Just take a hop over if you want to see more fun, cool and creative kitchen gadgets!

Love this! I went to the Pod’s website, and these are my new favorite kitchen products! Do you have an affiliate link to their site? Because I’m going to buy many of their products. They’ll make great hostess gifts, stocking stuffers…yes, thinking ahead 🙂
