12 twelve drummers drumming

Did you realize that today is a monumental day for the number twelve? So two times today it will be twelve minutes and twelve seconds after twelve o’clock on the twelfth day of the twelfth month in the year of 2012! Try saying that twelve times real fast! Ha!

Twelve is supposedly all magical and mystical, so I thought I would have a little fun and list things that are associated with the number twelve.

Are you ready?

25 Things That Are Associated With Twelve

12 months in a year
12 years before becoming a teenager
12 face cards in a deck
12 eggs in a dozen
12 apostles of Jesus
12 sons of Jacobs
12 Tribes of Israel
12 days of Christmas song
12 hours on a clock
12 birthstones
12 birth month flowers
12 roses given on special occasions
12 strikes to bowl a perfect game
12 years of school leading to high school graduation
12 jurors
12 zodiac signs
12 Knights of the Round Table
12 rings on a shower curtain
12 cans in a pack of soda
12 players on a Canadian football team
12 Krispy Kreme doughnuts
12 function keys on my PC keyboard (F1…F12)
12 inches in a foot
12 step program in Alcoholics Anonymous
12 drummers drumming

Hmmm…I wonder if that song is going to get stuck in your head since the list ended with 12 drummers drumming.

Can you hear the people singing?

La La La La

Oh! One last thing! Make sure you look at the clock at 12:12 and keep staring at it until you are sure that 12 seconds have passed. You might even find that you enjoy being a numbers geek!!!! 😉

LOL Yeah, Mom said that she “knew” I was going to watch the clock even though she missed it. I told her that it was okay because I would remind her next year when it is 8:9:10 on 11/12/13 LOL
