The beginning of the year had me committing to a vow to myself. This year is the year of cleaning! I am getting all my “things” cleaned out and organized. It all starts with the big event on Saturday.
“What event?” you wonder.
As you know this year wasn’t the best one in my life and getting ready for the holidays was rough. However, I still put up the celebratory decorations and tree which is still lit tonight.
On Saturday, all the decorations…
and the Christmas tree…
are going to be boxed up and put away leaving simple decor that is very easy to clean.
Ahhhhhhh….
Excuse me now. I am going to eat the last three M&M’s while no one is looking and no one is around to stop me!

I just love the fresh, clean house after the holiday decorations are down.. I bet you will feel the same way!

so… you'll need lots of snacks and drinks (iced tea or whatever) and LOUD MUSIC to keep you motivated and something.

Hey ! You inspired me to clean out my two receipt files! Overflowing with old receipts from years ago! I bought two cardboard boxes to save my business receipts and other important papers, and I shredded older ones!
good luck to you in your cleaning! You will open up energetic and psychic space for fresh ideas and emotions and opportunities to come your way!

Have fun with that! but I always find it nice to have a clean house after it's been enamored with Christmas decorations 🙂

We didn't put up a lot of decorations this year. We had the tree, with all of the lights and its ornaments on it, and then we had a few tinsel bits and ribbons around the house. This year, we took the tree down the day after Christmas (which is unheard of in my house – way earlier than normal) because my husband bought the family a Kinect for our XBox and the tree was in the way of the senor, so it wouldn't work. So he took the tree down and rearranged our furniture too!
