Obviously, the giveaway for a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker was a good idea because there are lots of people who want to win it. Unfortunately, I had to choose just one. The moment I sat down to choose a winner, I was glad of three things:
- I could use Random.org to choose the winner.
- I had programmed my blog to count comments a long time ago.
- I purchased the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker as a giveaway and had the money to do it in October.
What is my goal with giveaways?
Long time ago (well, it feels like a long time ago) I set up a blog centered around Contests and Giveaways. Like the other five blogs, a posting sensitive blogroll can be found and was specifically designed to help people who want sites that offer giveaways. When I enter a giveaway, I will usually publish a post about it on the Contests and Giveaways blog.
I like the setup of the blogroll because with just a simple refresh of the page, I can see the latest posts appear at the top of each column along with the name of the giveaway post. I also don’t delete my clicking history so that I can tell which sites I’ve visited. How? After clicking a link, it changes to a different color.
Anyway, during the unhappiness and trying to cope with the unhappiness of this year, I have also been working on things in the background that will come to fruition next year if I keep on working at it. Because of the changes, I will be able to offer more giveaways. I’m not sure how it all will work out or when it will work out, but it will work out! Having big giveaway items was always my intention for the Contests and Giveaways blog and I’m not going to stop until I can make it happen or until I go crazy trying to make it happen.
I mean really, I can’t imagine the thrill of giving away a laptop computer, refrigerator or car!!! It makes my heart go pitter patter just thinking about it! Giving away prizes like that would be more fun than the game show I watched when I was a child called The Price Is Right.
At the moment though, there is another matter at hand. The latest giveaway for a Cuisinart Yogurt, Sorbet, Ice Cream Maker has been a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed reading your comments. Thank you for entering and the time you took to visit my blog. And now, the moment we have all been waiting for….
The winner of the bright red Cuisinart Yogurt, Sorbet, Ice Cream Maker is #95 with a comment she made on a post called On The Borderline.
Looking forward to the next giveaway!
