I love the way that leather feels and smells. My country roots always come out when I’m around leather and immediately want to grab my flannel shirt and jeans.
Leather is a wonderful material that is exceptional when compared to other fabrics.
- Leather is super strong and doesn’t tear as easily as other fabrics.
- Leather is actually more fire resistant than other fabrics.
- Leather looks great even when it gets old if it is treated properly and still looks wonderful when it is used in a rough and tough environment.
- Leather lasts forever! Well, not literally, but it does last five times longer than fabric.
- Leather retains its shape and doesn’t wrinkle especially when you compare it to something like linen! Yikes!
Leather is made from animal skins from such animals as:
- Cow
- Deer
- Goat
- Ostrich
- Buffalo
- Alligator
- Elk
- Lamb
- Pig
- Equine
- Moose (No! No one can have this kind of leather!)
Enjoy the beautiful leather items!

Hey Gal! I love those leather pictures (except for Halle Berry) She looked like she was fixing to "pop out" LOL! Anyway, I have a thing for Hair doo-dads, and the other flowers.
I also wanted to let everyone know that I started a Discussion called "Coffee Break" in my Community like your Daily Chat. Yeah, I know. I'm copying your idea, but consider it flattery ok? I just figured that since most of my discussions are spiritually directed, a Daily Chat would be good for those who don't really get into those discussions and maybe will even get variety of discussions going. Will it go continuously naturally or do I need to do something to make it continuous? Anyway, Yall come visit me and take a "coffee break"
Cream or Sugar anyone?
God Bless!

I have to rite a reply to this blog! Came over from Blogfrog.
I love leather. Last year I hit pay dirt at Goodwill. I now have ten leather jackets and coats, one an ankle length suede coat by Carol Little, that I got on Senior Day (God forbid I qualify for that discount, but it's cool) for $8.99 less 25%. My Carol Little cost me $30. I had more of a social life last year, working part time and dating. Wore a different leather jacket everywhere I went. Now I sit quitely at home riting my next book. But you've got me jazzed about leather again so I am going to get social and strut my jackets this season. Love your blog! Love your super attitude. Love just riting right!
