Welcome to “Tell The Truth Thursday” where the question that has been posted in my right side bar gets answered by me and you…and sometimes my husband too! Did you prepare your post and are you ready to drop your URL into the McLinky so that we all can follow? Grab the thumb above linking it back to this blog posting and let’s get started…
The question this week is :
- What favorite hair styles have you worn during your life?
My answer to the Tell The Truth Thursday question will almost be your Chuckle of the Day…seriously!
Let’s go backwards.
If you glance at my blog header, you will see the part of my hair style that totally defines “Farah Fawcett” feathering. I have had the same exact style since my late teens. The length varies from top of the bra strap in the back to past the waist, but that is the ONLY difference. Obviously, I do not like change!
I’ve really only had two other hair styles before Farrah Feather. From the age of about thirteen to nineteen, I had a very, very short hair do. It feathered at the bangs like the Farrah cut, but was short like a man all over the rest of the head. I think this “do” drove my mother crazy because I always said, “I can’t grow long hair or my neck will be hot.”
Silly me.
As you already know, the beginning of my life was spent with bouncy orange curls fixed like a bouffant. I thought I would give you a full chuckle with another photo of a very freckled girl that I must admit is me. The picture is grainy, but remember it was taken back in the dinosaur era.
Remember, if you laugh too much at a small child, it just isn’t nice!
Yeah, I’m laughing too.
I bet my daughter is so happy that she is blond!

I wasn't in on the "Farrah"… the earliest I remember is "big" hair or "plastered"hair…let's just say I'm more comfortable with change, LOL

Ah just a red headed cutie I say!! I had to perm my hair to get those curls in those days!! (the days of elementary school, that is). I think one of my favorite hair cuts was when I was little before I got the curls–I had a pixie haircut and I felt very free!

Your curls were so cute! My hair was always some variation or other of the Farrah 'do, too, until last year when I got it layered & "choppy" like Jane Fonda's hair and I love it! sammiejanL40 at aol dot com
