No matter what language you say it in, “friend” means the same to everyone all over the world.
is the one you could
sit on a porch with,
never saying a word,
and walk away feeling
like that was the
best conversation you’ve had.”
Do you have close friends? How long have you cultivated your friendships?
This is the weekly post where I spotlight my Rockin’ Friends who are the Top Nine active participants and loyal followers in my community! If you want to be mentioned here next week, then all it takes is to come in and start chatting with everyone in my community.
With a big thank you for their participation and friendship, here are the Rockin’ Friends this week:
The most active person in my community this week was Heather of Family Volley. Her blogger profile is as follows:

About Me
Homemaker, wife and mother. My husband and I have three children. On the side I am a professor at Brigham Young University, where I teach Family Psychology. Three times a week I teach 100 college students how to have successful families.
I just love the way she casually says “On the side I am a professor.”
I don’t think Heather gives herself enough credit!!!
While reading Heather’s blog, I found some posts that really hit a cord in me. The first is “Love One Another- Call It A Tangent” and she asked the question that seems to never have an answer which is, “Why do mothers judge one another and their parenting?” She gives great advice and can relate with the pain of being criticized because she has been there too.
“Mom, I’m Bored!” had a picture that immediately reminded me of my childhood. Fantastic suggestions are given to help your children avoid boredom which should come in handy since it is summer break.
In “FAMILY FUN FRIDAY!-Sushi…Sweet!” I had to look really close to see that she wasn’t really using seaweed! Everything was candyish (I don’t think that is a word, but I like it anyway) and made to look like real sushi. I love sushi and the intricate way it is put together, so this post was right up my alley.
Heather is a lovely, kind lady with a young, fun attitude. I’m sure you will want to not only put Family Volley on your blogroll, but also chat with her in my community.
For everyone mentioned in the top nine this week, feel free to grab the Rockin’ Friend badge below and thank you for your participation.
Until the spotlight next week…Happy Chatting Rockin’ Friends!
