Something for you. Something for me.

Immediately, I know you want to know what’s in it for you, but you will have to really read most of the whole post to know the answer my Rockin’ Friend. Yes, that’s a hint!

My brain never stops. I definitely have a woman’s brain. That’s a good thing and sometimes it’s a bad thing. In this instance, it’s a good thing!

As you know I have a forum also known as a community. It is a place where people go to chat with other people that obviously have some of the same interests because they belong to my community and read my blog. We have some commonalities which increases the enjoyment of a chat here and there with each other. Think of it as living in a neighborhood and going next door to talk to your neighbor to chit chat. In this case, however, you can do it in your pajamas at 2:00 a.m. if you want without ever waking a soul. Doesn’t get much better than that now does it?

Joining is FREE and my community is part of the BlogFrog platform. I used to have my community with a different platform, but when they decided to charge me each month, I moved it to a place that was FREEEEEEE! I like FREE.

There are all kinds of topics that get started in the community. Here are a few examples:

• What did you want to be when you grew up?
• Let’s Be Honest

I even have a few topics that are constant such as:

The Daily Chat – A continuous thread. This is a place that we just hop in at any time and tell whatever we have on our mind. It’s a free for all conversation without a real topic.

So now comes the moment of truth…What’s in it for you? Besides actually making great friendships and learning all kinds of fantastic information, I’m going to help YOUR blogs get more exposure by doing something a little special each week. At the end of each week, I will write a post recognizing the top nine participants in my community. The post will include links to the blogs as well as a very cute button to let the world know you are a Rockin’ Friend.

Sometimes I will interview one of the top ten, give prizes to the participant with the most participation or something else completely different! I have so many ideas in my head right now to make this an exciting blog post each week..

What’s in it for me? I will have a way to recognize the top participants in my community, gain more participation and help others with exposure to their blogs!

It really is a win/win as far as I see it.
