Chuckle of the Day – Why Stretching is Bad For You

By Sherry Riter 8 Comments

 woman falling

Stretching, as the prelude to starting to exercise, is very bad for you and really dangerous.

Don’t believe me?

You’re always supposed to start any new physical exercise slowly and not stress too much.

If I lean back in my chair to have a good stretch…

my chair is going to tip over;

my feet will fly up;

I will hit my foot on the underside of this metal thing attached to my desk;

bang my head on the floor behind me;

start seeing those little star thingies;

and be completely knocked out.

Obviously, stretching can cause unconsciousness!

knocked
Now do you believe that stretching is bad for you?

    LOL! For me, when I stretch at my desk, I make a point of hooking my foot underneath the desk… Otherwise I'd be right there with you! Ouch!

    Stretching is not bad for you as long as you know where your feet and hands end up.

    A great Chuckle of the Day post!

    Write on!
