“Wood” You Wear These?

By Sherry Riter 12 Comments

Livio De Marchi, born in Venezia, is an artist like no other I’ve seen. His pieces are carved from wood…knots and all. The flowing wooden objects range from women’s lacy underwear to a floating wood Ferrari. The smooth surfaces on each creative masterpiece exude a warmth that appear soft instead of wooden.

    Red,
Is that the artist in the next to the last one or a piece of art for the room?

I like the artist's work, but the one I mentioned about threw me.

Wow! Simply amazing! I find it such a wonder that some gifted person can take something that we often take for granted and create out of it something beautiful and timeless! Now, question…does that purse work? It might be a bit heavy, but sure would be easy to make it match an outfit…spray paint!
