Remembering With Gratitude

By Sherry Riter 6 Comments

Memorial Day celebrations and the American flag

No matter where you live or who you are, if someone protects your life, your family, your freedoms and your country, I’m sure you feel a huge amount of gratitude for their sacrifices on your behalf.

Today is called Memorial Day in the United States and is a holiday to commemorate the men and women who died while in military service.

There will be celebrations of all kinds as tributes and gratitude in remembrance of those that kept our country safe by giving us the ultimate gift…their lives.

Thank you for preserving my freedom.

Thank you for your beautiful posts! I can't imagine WHY I wasn't following your blog before? I was SURE I was! Maybe it was on MBC? OR Twittermoms?

Anyway, I am following now, and will be reading your "riting" religiously!

Especially the Having An Affair. So powerful, meaningful and necessary.

    Thanks you!

I took my clients to the cemetery today. There was a program in progress with live bagpipers – it was beautiful to see and hear.
    Happy Memorial Day
