No one knows what tomorrow may bring which means we only have today. Of course, it is wise to plan for tomorrow, but pointless to lament over negative possibilities.
Everything we did yesterday and will do today affects tomorrow. I’m sure you’ve often heard that kindness begets kindness. Well, it is a saying based on reality. Humans have a basic good within them, but it must be nurtured. Selfishness is an evil that can stifle all the good and love out of any relationship similar to weeds in a flower garden. The best way to counteract the negative taking over is to be kind, thoughtful and caring for one another.
This isn’t a new concept. Christians are taught to “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Others call it “The Golden Rule” or “Ethic of Reciprocity.” It doesn’t matter what name you give the practice as long as you just live it.
A simple act such as yielding for a merging car, allowing another customer with only one item to purchase move ahead of you in the check-out line, or smiling at a passerby are little ways to incorporate sincere and kind acts into your life.
The “pay off” usually appears when you least expect it and in a way you need it the most. This has happened to me many times before just as I’m sure it has to you also. Invest in your happiness – it’s worth it.

A great quote and a very good way to live your life.
Thanks for the little refresher 🙂
