The question this week is:
- If you could have free, unlimited service for five years from an extremely good cook, chauffeur, housekeeper, masseuse, or personal secretary, which would you choose?
Sounds like a dream doesn’t it? I like this Tell The Truth Thursday question.
So here is a little bit about me. I love to eat good food. I love the whole dining – and – sitting – around – with – the – family – to – eat – experience. I also love to have people enjoy the food that I have cooked, so I wouldn’t want to give up this fun activity which means I wouldn’t choose the good cook option.
Chauffeur? Tempting choice for me because I really hate driving. I don’t like the frustration of other drivers who tail gate, weave in and out without regard to other people’s safety and many more reasons. As much as I do not like driving, I don’t believe I would choose this option either.
Having a Personal Secretary wouldn’t even cross my mind. I simply do not need someone to organize my life even though it is often chaotic.
The only choices left are a housekeeper and a masseuse. Hmmmm. Both of them sound wonderful. The clothes would stay washed and ironed. The dishes would never be left in the sink or on the coffee table. I wouldn’t have to change my sheets or fold laundry. Window washing and scrubbing the baseboards would not be on my agenda. A housekeeper would be great. But then a masseuse every day to give me a back, neck and head massage to wash away the stress of the day would truly be delightful. I love massages.
It would be very hard to choose between the last two options. But since I have to choose, I think I would choose the housekeeper.
I’m sure I could find something to do with the extra time.

oh Id so choose the masseuse!!!
Oh my gosh, any one of those choices would be wonderful. And I narrowed it down to the same two that you did, but if I had to pick just one, I'd have to say the masseuse. A great massage makes me feel 10 years younger.
Hard choice-either masseuse or maid. I work a LOT so a maid would be great, but my neck & shoulders get really sore from working so much, so the masseuse would be great! I think I'd take the masseuse and the heck with the clean house. lol sammiejanL40 at aol dot com
