The other day my daughter, Alyssa, said that I have “no fashion sense” and desperately needed help. I think I am just super conservative and she is blind to all the body parts I want to ensure stay in hiding.
Knitwear designer Sandra Backlund has designed and created a…dress.
It doesn’t look anything like fancy dresses I have sewn.
However…
I love the color.
I love the knitted stitches.
I love the ribbon.
I do not like the bulky things sticking off that would only add to my fat which is in all the wrong places.
So if this is En Vogue and the measure of “good fashion,” I want to remain passé.

It is beautifully crafted, but definitely on the costume side. I have been watching too much Project Runway.
