Something to ponder. I would have to say it was pulling kids from a car I thought was about to explode. There was an accident in front of me one time when I had my children with me. I parked back from the car as it was leaking gas all over the place – the mother seemed "out of it" so I told her to stand aside and I got her kids out of the back seat. I kept expecting the car to explode in flames but It never did.
LOVE the picture! LOVE it! Let's see, I auditioned for Les Miserables on Broadway, on the set of the Broadway theater! It was pretty terrifying (and, I didn't get the part!), but I DID it!
honestly, im not as vocal as i am in writing. i would rather talk a lot here than in front of an audience. more so INFRONT OF THE CAMERA WHICH WILL BE AIRED AT THE MOST FAMOUS EVENING NEWS IN THE COUNTRY. and so when i was on the spot asked to have an interview in the hospital I was working at then, i almost said no! but then what-the-hell "it's a chance of a lifetime to be seen on national tv!" and so grabbed that opportunity though my heart feels like exploding. a few days after, though i was not able to see it broadcasted, relatives, friends, colleagues, patients…and everybody else knowing me commended on it 😉 (well honestly, it just felt like giving my everyday diet counseling to tons of patients after all…just the thought made me nervous hehe)
I LOVE the picture! The most terrifying thing I had to do? I think it would be the first time I stood before a room full of freshman college students to teach composition, a class they abhorred and did NOT want to take. Or when I defended my thesis.Or when my thumb was COMPLETELY severed when I was 4 1/2- that probably wins hands down (ha ha hands down) – Nope it had to be when they said, "I don't have a heart beat" before they knocked me out during a crash c-section – that was a Faith by terror moment.
thinking about it, i don't think i have ever done anything very brave. but maybe i am just feeling bad about myself tonight. i think people might consider me a brave person, but i don't know. i know you were meaning something more literal, and my mine is blank.
I was working on a crane. The crane took off on its own. The shaft that moves it got caught in the cuff of my pants. It was not rotating fast but it was pulling my leg. I whipped off my bloomers to save my neck well my leg anyhow and ran over to the power disconnect. This happened to be in a nuclear missile facility. I don’t know what would have happened had I not hit the switch. A lot of people were amused by a guy standing 40 foot up in the air with no trousers.

That's it, not very exciting!
