Many artists across the world work professionally as body painters.
The “wallpaper” type body painting shown in most of the photos above are from the artist, Emma Hack who is a Diverse Multimedia Artist, Skin Illustrator, Photographer and Sculptor.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, published annually, added a feature section of body painted models by Joanne Gair, a leading body paint artist whose work has been included in the magazine for ten years. Her initial claim to fame began with an August 1992 Vanity Fair Demi’s Birthday Suit cover of Demi Moore.
Would you have your “girls” and the rest of your body painted? If your answer is “no” would you change it to “yes” if you were paid a million dollars?
Lauren says
You know, in my current physical shape I wouldn't, just because I'm too self-conscience. But if I were in better shape I totally would. I actually think the body painting is really neat and for the most part really beautiful art. And like in the case of Demi on the cover, you can't even tell she's not wearing clothes it's done so well. I saw the SI swimsuit special they did a few years about it, and it was actually pretty cool. Very professional.
So yeah, if I was in better shape I would be fine with doing it. Just not right now. Unless they can paint me to look thinner lol.

No, I wouldn't, not even for a million dollars! I enjoyed this post! Again you've picked a subject that is interesting! The models incorporated into the scenery is cool! Like the door and walls! You have to look hard to see them!

Wow, what a beautiful collection of art! Those body painters are exquisitely talented! Well, if I had a body as gorgeous as the women in those pictures I'd be first in line for a body paint. As things currently stand however, 2 kids and several hundred french cheeses later, I'll have to pass.

I remember seeing this sort of thing on the "girls next door" show. Typical Playboy stuff. Pretty to look at when presented like this. I don't think my post-6-baby-body would be in much demand as an art object though, lol. And with 6 kids to set an example for, I doubt the 1 mill could offset the heartache of seeing my kids get involved in the porn industry or worse.

Hmmmm—a million dollars? Could I have my face painted too, so no one knows who it is?
Then, and only then…..maybe.

I wanted to take some nude maternity photos, but I was so sick the day of the shoot that I barely made it through our poses with clothes on! Next pregnancy, I'm doing it! I might even get my boobies and bump painted. Thanks for the idea!

I knew it would be good the minute I saw the title!
Knowing how much shaving would have to happen and sitting around being painted on all over, what if you get an itch! So no…can't paint my girls or my twat…ain't gonna happen for no amount of money!
Gifts By Katherine says
Oh yes I would. Of course they'd have to paint them as deflated balloons or paint socks on me with my poor old girls tucked into them, LOL!!!!!!

I would do a lot of embarassing things for a million dollars, shame on me.

I don't have any girls, but I enjoyed looking at these images (no surprise there, eh?)
Especially the ones where the women in question were incorporated into the background. I can't quite believe it is for real, some part of me thinks it is the work of photoshop.

Amazing pictures. If I had a body like any of these models……I might. For a million.

Uhmmmmm…you did say ONE MILLION DOLLARS??? Didn't you? Well ok, then. I guess at my age I have no pride…but where were you 20 years ago when I "might" have looked like one of those girls….and painting my "girls" I'm so glad I still have both of them (breast cancer 20 years ago) that you can paint them any color you'd like!!! You are sooo creative..where do you find this 'stuff'. Love you and your blogg..you 'red headed riter'

There have been times when clothes were such a nuisance that I would've considered it. But now, in my post-7-pregnancies body, there's no way I'd let my sagginess be emphasized with bold colors!

Hmmm. No, but yes for a million dollars. Call me a floozy if you must, but at least i'd be painted. ; )
