Butterfly Wings With Training Wheels

By Sherry Riter 9 Comments

I often receive emails with pictures that express a feeling or thought just perfectly. For everyone who is feeling depressed or can’t find a solution to a problem, I hope this helps brighten your day…

Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe,
it can achieve.

~W. Clement Stone~

Remember when you were a child and were told that “some day” you would be able to ride your bike without the training wheels? It was hard to believe, but if you were like me, you were determined to eventually “be big” and get rid of those training wheels. I “believed” in what my parents told me. I “saw” it happening in my mind.

We have to follow the same process now. When we have a goal or problem — we have to “see” the end result or solution. It is that belief in the ability to attain the goal and solve the problem that will keep us motivated in the right direction. When there is happiness in your life, it is easier to “see” solutions. Surround yourself with happy people who are motivated and aspire to become better people and excel in life.

If you begin to doubt, run to that mirror, look at yourself and say out loud, “I am special and I can do anything I set my mind to do. I will succeed.” Positive self-talk can help you perform miracles.

The more man meditates upon good thoughts,
the better will be his world and the world at large.

~Confucius(BC 551-BC 479)Chinese philosopher~

Thanks so much for coming by my blog. I love that picture with the manufactured wings. I wonder if we do that sometimes when really we need to wait to grow into them.

The caterpillar picture was great! When doubt creeps in, I think its also helpful to remember back to positive outcomes of the past. So often we focus on our failures instead of the successes!
