The Colors Of Spring

Some people are

make the world
a better place

is filled with love
appreciation and compassion.

I am blessed to
have a person in my life
that exhibits all these
attributes and so many more
and I call her Mother.

To the woman, my sweet Mother, who sacrificed so much of her life to give me life and taught me an abundance of the lessons of life through her example and constant guidance, I want to say “Happy Mother’s Day” and “Thank You”.

You are my mother, sister and friend. I can not imagine a day without you in it. Your love has spanned miles and encompassed me in its safety when I was at the depth of sorrow and pain. Your soft voice and kind words of encouragement have given me the confidence I’ve needed to face reality and all that life has placed before me. We have laughed and we have cried together. We have felt fear together and we have given each other hope. We have taught each other and learned from each other. There are no words written or spoken that could express the depth of my gratitude for having you as my mother and sharing in the experience of this life together.

I love you.
