Can’t Keep Up With Granny, The Redhead Riter

By Sherry Riter 8 Comments

Like most dogs, Bella sleeps a lot, however, she is very nosy. So if I rattle a piece of paper or make any noise, her eyes will pop open when she’s sleeping and she will usually start running around to investigate the excitement. That’s how Bella acts when I’m gone from home a good portion of the day because she has already had many hours of sleep.

When I stay home all day with her, it is another story. I have a rather high metabolism and don’t sleep as much as most people. If I’m awake, there is noise albeit not much most of the time. Of course, Bella wants to be awake and part of all the fun while I’m awake.

But…she gets really tired.

Bella will fall sleep and look like her cute little red poodle self.

But if she hears a noise, her head will pop up.

Unlike the days when she gets plenty of rest, Bella will plop her head right back down and go to sleep. She is just plain tuckered out.

Poor little thing.

Bella can’t keep up with Granny (The Redhead Riter) either.

She is adorable, and I can see why you love her so much. Cats and dogs sleep most of their life, I can’t understand it. I’d hate to sleep so much. But maybe that is because they haven’t learned how to socialize on a computer yet. Just imagine helping Bella write her own blog!
