The Drill Sergeant Arrives

By Sherry Riter 28 Comments

drill sargeant working cleaning bossing

Instead of waking up Sunday morning and having a peaceful day, we will embark on a day of cleaning. If I ever wished for a dozen children before, Sunday would be the best day to have them. I will have to turn into a drill sergeant in order to get everything sparkling and will probably have to boss myself around as much as Alyssa because we are both sore from lifting so many boxes. Of course, my squishy arms are probably a whole lot more sore than Alyssa’s rock hard biceps. (rolling my eyes)

Aging mama vs. youthful daughter…who will be tuckered out first? Bets anyone?

My bet is that it will be a draw! You both will be equally tuckered out! Moving isn’t easy, although you look pretty fit in the picture above as the drill sergeant! πŸ™‚

Look on the bright side! Look at all the exercise you and Alyssa got lifting and moving all those boxes. I bet you don’t have squishy arms anymore! πŸ™‚

They are not as tone as Alyssa’s arms still. I’m just all bruised!

Redhead Riter, are you so exhausted from moving that you do not have any strength left to answer your comments? I think that is why people are not commenting. They want to give you a break, because they know how hard you have been working at this move. You have the most considerate readers in the world! πŸ™‚

On the other hand, does that make me inconsiderate because I keep commenting? πŸ™‚

Joan, this is The Redhead Riter. Truthfully, after this move I’ve just been through, I’m too tired to care whether you answer your own comments or you don’t.

No, Joan, it is not okay with me if you answer your own comments. This is MY BLOG and there is only one Redhead Riter and that is me! Therefore, it should be me who answers all comments addressed to me on my blog.

Well, of course, I recognize who you are – but I was just trying to be a considerate reader. I have been really impressed that no matter how busy you have been with your move – you still made the time to write new posts for your blog everyday – and I thought that the very least I could do was comment on your posts and answer my own comments if you were too tired or busy to answer my comments yourself after your big move. But since you feel so strongly about answering all the comments your readers write yourself, I’ll let you answer all 12 comments that I made on this post! πŸ™‚

Since Red is busy, I will answer. Thank you Joan for all those comments. Yes and no, it is not okay to answer all your own comments.

But yes, you are right, there is but one Redhead Riter. Hoping she gets back soon, with her now toned arms. Sherry, shake that arm and fist at the Frankenstorm! Stay safe.

        Thank you both.

I still have power so Frankenstorm hasn’t unleashed too much on me directly. I’m hoping that it is all over for me.
