One Person Can Make A Difference
You may be only one person, but one person CAN make a difference.
I know one person can make a difference because over the last two years of my struggle with PTSD, there were people that made a huge difference in my existence.
I want to help someone and I need you to take ONE MINUTE and help me do it.
Obviously you know I don’t have any other posts on my blog like this one, so maybe that will let you know that this is important.
Your VOTE can help this young woman receive a $250,000.00 small business grant. Why does she want a grant? Let me tell you…
Four years ago, Wendy Lozano opened a children’s salon in Chico, California called Cool Kidz Cuts. In a year, Wendy has to relocate her salon to another location and I’m sure you know that starting over takes money. That is why Wendy needs the small business grant.
This is an opportunity for us to do something good for someone today. It can make a huge difference for Wendy and her family. Wendy has three children and works hard at the salon to support them. So I am going to be posting this on my Facebook and Twitter for the next couple weeks or until we get the 250 votes that Wendy needs to qualify for the grant. Yeah, you read that right….ONLY 250 votes.Β SURELY WE CAN COME UP WITH 250 votes!!!!!
I know that some of you might need detailed, step-by-step instructions, so I’m going to give them to you. It is VERY SIMPLE!!!

No, REALLY…Thank you very much!!!
Redhead Riter, I have voted for Wendy, put this information on my Facebook page and I have also tweeted for my followers to vote for her on Twitter! I will continue supporting Wendy Lozano because she is a wonderful wife and mother – and a very caring person who gives back to her community at every chance she can. If she is awarded this grant she has dreams of moving to a new location and expanding her services for children who are challenged and have special needs.
Joan,
Not “if” she gets the grant, but “when” she gets the grant! π
I am so GRATEFUL to you (RedHead Riter) for posting this Mission Small Business information on your web page. For me this is an opportunity of a life time. This opportunity *If I should win* would make it possible to move my business, and build my business to include ideas that I thought would not be possible. Thank you for being helpful and so caring. I look forward to watching my opportunity grow. Thank you readers, for taking the time to help make this happen. I will keep you updated on how the votes are growing.
Sincerely,
Wendy
Wendy,
You are very welcome! We will do all we can to help make your dreams come true! Then when I visit California some day, I will stop in your new salon to say, “Howdy!”
Done!
Thank you, Skip!!!
Ohhh, you are sooo right, Redhead Riter! Not “if” Wendy gets the grant, but “when” Wendy gets the grant! With a little help from your readers, Wendy’s dreams can come true! Let’s make it happen for Wendy! Vote for her! She is such a deserving person! π
π Joan. Positive thinking sounds so much better.
Good Morning. Done! Excellent procedure “manual” Red. You made it as simple and straightforward as possible. I’ll be praying for you Wendy. We have to support the small business person more now than ever and women get an extra Hail Mary. I have had to live in Paradise, CA. and to me it was anything but, however, I’ll not travel down that story path. Point is, having lived in that rural area in the early 90’s, Chico was the closest place to anything that even remotely resembled a real town. Just a coincidence, I know, but it brings Wendy’s situation that much closer to the heart. Blessings to all on this sunny Monday.
Morning Susanne! Thank you! I hope you have a fantastic Monday! It is rainy, cloudy and cool here. YAY!!!! LOL
Hi Redhead Riter! I am Wendy’s Mom and wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Wendy, who I am so very proud of, by posting her story on your website to help her become eligible for the $250,000.00 grant. You and Joan are gems! Thank you again!
La Verne,

Thank you very much, Meredith!!! {{{hugssss}}}
We are 79 votes. I did want to mention after walking my friend through the voting section on the mission small business website. After you put in the name of the business and state, it leads you to believe that the vote was counted. The person needs to scroll all the way down to see the vote/submit button, or the vote does not count. Thank you again for all the people voting for me.
Wendy
